CLOCKWORK records
The "production" record label was founded in 1984 by "Producer/A&R/B2B" Rai Streubel (ex Bellaphon/Motown, SPV,...).
Starting the engines with the High Energie Hit "Love me" from the Band Punch
the label continued releasing with mainly EBM/Techno/
Pop/Wave products and groups like
C.C.C.P., BeatAmaX, The Force Dimension,...
In 1984 CLOCKWORK was the first Label of the "Sounds of Frankfurt" and the first label which was in the official charts without the support of an major company. (German Top 75 and U.S. Billboard Charts). And has inspired many of the following labels , musicians and Dj’s.
Clockwork also released "Dance Remixes" from "TV Series" like Airwolf and Mac Gyver as well as original Soundtrack Releases (e.g. "Top Model" Starring: Jessica Moore and Laura Gemser BLACK EMMANUELL and "THE MAFIA IS EVERYWHERE", Starring: Brad Davis MIDNIGHT EXPRESS.).
It always had the nickname to be a „Breakeven Label“, because (small releases) almost everything CLOCKWORK released reached higher-than-average numbers of sales or the Charts (U.S.A. , Germany, Hong Kong, Benelux, France, Spain,...) and all that in most cases without the support of a Major!
The CLOCKWORK philosophy always was and is:
"Everything done on oneself including the production & distribution!”
(STRICTLY INDEPENDENT).
The backcatalogue of the sublabels (CMV/ Germany, N678 ALL/ U.K., High Speed Kindergarten/U.S.) is today only available directly from CLOCKWORK/SOULFLAVORS DISTRIBUTION (www.soulflavors.eu)
The group Marvin Gardens (ex CMV), is going to release their new album in 2010 on Clockwork records.
Marvin Gardens released their cover of the classical "My body and soul" by Teddy Riley (Black Street, Michael Jackson) in 1992 in in consultation with Edition Amnesia (the publishing company of CLOCKWORK), which was so successful (worldwide Charts) that more than 20 cover versions of this CMV/CLOCKWORK version followed. Also producers like Frank Farian induced cover versions of "My body and soul" .The last release was in 2008 by Chris Montana and Agent Greg among others on Beatport/Stealth Records. www.marvin-gardens.eu

Well, it’ s some sort of a relaunch, but it has never really been quiet around CLOCKWORK 
…not forgetting the house track "Summernation" by N678 All feat. Jean Shy in the late 90’s (Charts /U.K.) and the two Albums by C.C.C.P. in the third millennium.
